The Episcopal Church of St. John the Evangelist Church is located at Julian and 15th streets in the Mission District of San Francisco. The Reverend John Kirkley is the rector.
The community of St. John's Church is diverse and inclusive. All are welcome and invited to the Lord's Table.
St. John the Evangelist Church is part of the Diocese of California of the Episcopal Church of the USA. The Right Reverend William Swing is bishop. Grace Cathedral, located on Nob Hill in San Francisco, is the diocesan center.
